Google finally make sure to open an office in Indonesia before 2012. This was expressed by Eric Schmidt, Google's Executive Chairman, who met with Vice President of Indonesia Boediono this Friday at the Office of the Vice President for one hour.As quoted from the magazine Compass, a spokesman for Vice President Yopie Hidayat explained that Google wants to expand the business through the development of a working platform connecting small and medium enterprises in Indonesia with buyers from abroad. It's like Google has done in China. For Google, it is important to increase revenue from advertising.
Previously appeared polemic when will Google opened an office in Indonesia, following Singapore and Malaysia which have representative offices in advance. Google officially introduced its offices in Malaysia in January 2011. In addition, Google is expected this year will also open representative offices in Thailand. I predict the future focus of Google's office in Indonesia is related to Google Adsense as a revenue base for this. Jobs are needed of course not far from the salesperson (Sales) and marketing (Marketing). There will be no lot Engineer needed here because one of Google's local products to Indonesia, Indonesian-language Google Voice Search can be realized without the presence of a representative office here. In the meantime, Google already has representatives in Indonesia who work remotely and have its main office at the Google offices in Singapore.
